The 28th episode of the Never Nervous Podcast features a fun conversation we had with dreamy indie rock trio Twin Limb. Lacey Guthrie, Maryliz Bender and Kevin Ratterman were all kind enough to join us to talk about a number of things including the band's writing process, the music they've been making lately, a few tour stories and more!
WORTH MENTIONING: This is one of three episodes recorded at Great Flood, however it was the only one that was recorded while the brewery was actually open so there is a bit of background noise.

The 27th episode of The Never Nervous Podcast features an interview with Adam Crowhorn, who in addition to playing in indie rock/punk bands like Tall Squares and Dick Titty Blood Punch is also heavily involved in Poorcastle, one of my favorite Summer music festivals. Listen as we discuss Adam's bands, being in a relationship with a bandmate, and this year's rendition of Poorcastle!
WORTH MENTIONING: A bit of this conversation may seem dated, as this episode was recorded a month ago, and Adam talks a bit about their "upcoming tour with Boner City" which since has already come and gone. Sorry for the confusion.
ALSO WORTH MENTIONING: Go here (http://wkuherald.com/opinion/my-tinder-horror-story-vomit-and-satan-pizza/article_c54b879c-5cc8-11e5-988f-eff2987ee730.html) to read the "My Tinder Horror Story" article we talked about that features a hilarious albeit less than flattering look at DTBP member Luke Butts and a lady he met online.
On the 25th episode of the Never Nervous Podcast, our guest is Shadwick Wilde, singer/guitarist of Quiet Hollers. Listen as we talk about his band, touring. We also put him on the spot forcing him into Morrissey and Danzig impersonations (which are surprisingly good!).
To close out the year, we thought it'd be fun to talk about some of the music that we particularly liked from 2015. So, for the 24th episode of The Never Nervous Podcast, we once again invited our good friend Thommy Browne to join us for a chat where we each chose three of our favorite songs, two out of Louisville and one outside of town. After mentioning our picks, we faded in a sample of the track to hip you to the noise we are talking about. While our tastes vary, I think it's safe to say that we all agreed that this collection of music is fucking stellar.
In addition to our favorite songs of the year, we each also provided an MVP from Louisville's music community. What does that mean, exactly? I'm still not sure, but the way I understood is we were each to select a person that we felt was responsible for making 2015 extraordinary. Who did we choose? What songs did we select? Listen below to find out:
WORTH MENTIONING: No, we aren't trying to suggest that this music is better than other music, we're just talking about music that came to mind immediately before sitting down to record the episode. Yes, we left out a shit-ton of more-than-worthy tunes, which to me is a testament to how vast Louisville's music community is and continues to be year after year.
The 23rd episode of The Never Nervous Podcast features a different formula than the usual interview format we've been focusing on over the last year or so. Considering that Christmas is just a few days away, we decided it would be fun to randomly call a few choice folks involved in Louisville's music community and request a funny story that relates to the holiday season in one way or another. The element of surprise works here considering that these people had to quickly come up with an entertaining memory on the fly, so we really had no idea what was going to be shared. Participants include us (the Never Nervous dudes), Sleye Kooper (Shadowpact), Touch AC, Rob Pennington (By the Grace of God, Black God, etc), Bricks Avalon (Miracle Drug), Jake Miller (Lee Van Cleef), and a bunch more! It's also absolutely worth mentioning that our number one homie Thommy Browne has once again joined us to cohost this episode, and for this we are eternally grateful.
Anyway, without further adieu, enjoy the Never Nervous Christmas special, and let it be known that from the depths of our blackened souls we wish you the happiest holiday season you've ever experienced!
The 22nd episode of the Never Nervous Podcast features a fun interview with our favorite paramecium: Yoko Molotov! We'd been looking forward to recording this particular show considering that Yoko is our first female guest, as well as a fascinating individual, and for that we are absolutely grateful. We hadn't previously met, but we had a fabulous time sharing stories about our pseudo-redneck youth, the noise she makes in Sweatermeat and Teens of Tycoon, and her controversial visual art. She was incredibly witty, fun to be around, and very nice to my dog and two cats.
WORTH MENTIONING: Syd was unable to make it on this episode, but in his absence one of our favorite people on the planet stood in as guest host: Thommy Browne! What a guy! We are truly lucky to have this incredible human being willing to be on the show as much as he has. Look forward to hearing more of him in the future as he will be joining us for next week's Christmas episode as well as our best of 2015 episode.

For episode 21 of The Never Nervous Podcast, our guest is rapper/musician 1200 who was kind enough to stop by Never Nervous Headquarters for a lengthy interview. Listen as we talk about a number of things including Bryson Tiller, Louisville hip hop, his relationship with Jim James, and his unadulterated love of the V/H/S horror franchise!
Aside from being really good at playing drums for Uh Huh Baby Yeah, Sean Smith is also a pop culture aficionado. Listen as we chat about his band, a few tour stories, and a shit load of nerd-related topics not limited to Ninja Turtles, toys, wrestling, and more!
Episode 19 of The Never Nervous Podcast features an interview with none other than Elliott Turton, host of None of the Above Podcast, member of WAXEATER and one of the dudes behind PRFBBQ Louisville Fest! Listen as we chat about sports radio hosts, Dave Navarro, and PRFBBQ! HOLD ON TO YER BUTTS!
