For the 44th episode of The Never Nervous Podcast, we have a special treat for you this week, as special cohosts JC Denison from the amazing CliftTones Podcast (among many, many, many things) and Rylee Short recap their recent visit to the annual Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, TN. Big Ears is far and away one of most exciting and adventurous festivals in the country, featuring artists like Bang on a Can, Godspeed You ! Black Emperor, Four Tet, Will Oldham, Rachel Grimes, and much, much more. Denison and Short recount their experiences there, what they ate, what they saw, and how they engaged, along with a prodigious amount of joyous name-dropping, but in a way that makes you wish you were there with them. They had good foods, good times, and left with an even greater appreciation of what we have here in town and how we can build by the Big Ears example.

On the 43rd episode of the Never Nervous Podcast, we're graced by the presence of one of our favorite emcees: the one and only Touch AC, a dude that I consider to be the finest hip hop wordsmith in Louisville. Our conversation was recorded on location inside (and outside) of Safai, a most excellent coffee shop in the Highlands on Bardstown Road. So what prompted this meeting of the minds? Well, our main man has some new noise on the horizon, and naturally, we're excited about it. On April 20th, his latest collaborative EP with Dr. Dundiff titled Death. will be released, and later this year a joint effort with Filthy Rich called Doomsday Sun will hit the streets.
Oh yeah! The NWO (Nervous/Wild Organization) is back for Part 2 of this week's action-packed wrestling podcasts. Sean and Jake sit down today to discuss Saturday's NXT Takeover: New Orleans. Tune in to hear Sean's unfavorable opinions on Johnny Gargano, Jake's wish for a Bourbon Street Bawl, exotic beverages as weapons, the genius of Adam Cole's entrance, high praise for Pete Dunne, the time Zelina Vega liked Sean's tweets, and why they love NXT. Later in the show, the two get confused on who exactly was nicknamed "The Human Highlight Reel" and give their predictions on who they think will be victorious at Takeover! All that plus a ton of laughs in this NXT Takeover special!
Are you excited for Wrestlemania 34? Of course you are! And to get you properly pumped for pro wrestling's most prestigious annual event, Jake is joined by the man, the myth -- Sean "Thriller" Smith from the Sean Vs. Wild Podcast. The two met up at The Smithsonian to record a pair of special crossover episodes, and today we're super stoked to share PART 1 with you! Listen to these two super fans talk about their favorite wrestling memories, the best blonde hair/brown beard combination in the business, the matches they're most looking forward to, a breakdown of the wrestlers they love, and of course the wrestlers they love to hate. You'll hear these two nerds discuss picking dudes up in any possible position, crying on the Jake "The Snake" documentary, Sean's grandma hating Chris Jericho, and the good brothers make their predictions on who will be leaving Wrestlemania victorious! Freak out, Freak out -- the Nervous and The Wildlings are taking over the Podcast Planet, and it just might blow your 24 inch guns out on this week's episode of the Sean Vs. Wild Podcast!

How did they get together? How many Louisville shows have they played this year? Spoiler Alert: They play a lot of shows! These questions and more are answered on this episode. Special thanks to RecBar for all the tokens, and extra special thanks to The Posterman for sponsoring this episode.
On the latest episode of the never nervous podcast we start at the very beginning with Mike Thompson. What made him get into movies? How did he get started? Who are his biggest influences? On the 35th episode of The Never Nervous Podcast, we tried really hard to hold back our excitement as we sat down with Shutaro Noguchi and Shane Wesley of Anwar Sadat. This is one of our more serious episodes as we eventually discuss the multiple layers of anxiety that most of us in the studio deal with regularly. That's only after talking about the recording of Ersats Living Halloween III, and the first transgender video game character in Mario 2: Birdo.
Hang out with us as we weave a web of conversation that will make you laugh, cry, and bang your head. And if you haven't already, subscribe, rate, and review the show!
